“Your first 10,000 photos are your worst”

It happened when I got my first salary. I invested part of it in my first Pentax SLR camera and thus dived into the world of photography for the first time.

A study of media informatics and a stay abroad at the "Cityvarsity - school of media & creative arts" in Cape Town further fuelled my enthusiasm for digital photography and image processing.

I was particularly taken with the rugged landscape of Iceland.
